Information on the Managing Director
Joseph Little is founder and Managing Director of Kitty Hawk Consulting (since 1991).
In Agile, he is a CST (Certified Scrum Trainer). (He is also a CSP (Certified Scrum Professional), a CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) and a CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner). He has trained and coached many clients in lean-agile-scrum. He has been a master coach. In part, that means acting as a mentor to team ScrumMasters. He now has many years experience in lean-agile-scrum and has learned from the best (example: he has done courses with Jeff Sutherland and the Poppendiecks).
In the past, he has consulted to the securities industry, to the consumer real estate finance industry, and to the credit card industry. Many of his projects have involved international and domestic securities trading and process processing. He has consulted from business, operations, and technology viewpoints. He has consulted to major financial institutions in New York, London and Charlotte. He has 20+ years of experience in banking and finance.
He has worked with many great clients. As examples, these have included: Alcatel-Lucent, Bank of America, Capital One, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, JPMorganChase, BNP Paribas, Wells Fargo, the Government of Canada, US Navy, Northrop Grumman, the University of Notre Dame, USAA, and many many other small, medium-sized and large firms. Many clients have called him back for additional work.
Previously Mr. Little has worked as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young and KPMG Consulting. He had 20+ years of senior-level consulting experience in New York, London, and Charlotte. Mr. Little has an MBA in Finance & International Business from New York University and a BA from Yale University.
Information on the Engagment Director
Joseph Singh is a specialist in the Asset Management area with responsibility for the application of technology and analytical quantitative ideas to product management and product development, servicing institutions, actively trading traditional buy-side funds and alternative investment funds. On a regular basis, he works on behalf of and advises Traders, Portfolio Managers, Sales and Relationship Managers who are typically externally facing. He also works closely with Risk Managers, Technology experts, Quantitative Analysts, and Finance professionals who are focused on the execution of internal management initiatives, in addition to vendors and consultants who may assist in providing services and specific products.
Mr. Singh has worked in key roles as an employee for American Management Systems, Inc., Bankers Trust and JP Morgan.
Mr. Singh holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Operations Research from Columbia University. He also holds an Undergraduate Degree in Chemistry from Adelphi University, and has attended the Employer-Sponsored Executive Management Program at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
